A global pandemic has arrived and the whole world has gone into lockdown... except for the birds, the bees, the dormice, and the deer (oh deer!) who wondered for a moment where all the noisy aeroplanes, smelly cars, and scary hedge-cutters, lawnmowers and tractors had gone before they carried on as normal; building their nests, searching for food, singing, playing, fighting and exploring. Bad news for us though as the legal process of purchasing the land has taken on the characteristically slow pace we are all becoming familiar with during this pandemic.
